Any Online Ruler turns a browser screen into a practical measuring space. It is built for quick everyday tasks: checking a craft piece, comparing a small component, measuring a label, or understanding the difference between inches and centimeters.
What the tool does
The online ruler supports inches, centimeters, millimeters and pixels. You can place a ruler on any edge of your screen, mark two endpoints, copy a measurement, and use guide lines or a crosshair to align an object. Fullscreen and focus mode make more room for measuring, while dark mode offers another viewing option.
Calibration comes first
A pixel does not have the same physical size on every display. Auto-detection provides a starting estimate by checking supported screen profiles. You can improve the fit by choosing your device, entering the screen diagonal, or matching the calibration outline to a standard credit card.
An automatic match is not a guarantee of the device model or measurement accuracy. Verify the scale against a known dimension, especially after changing screens or zoom. For work requiring certified precision, use a suitable physical measuring instrument.
